• SIOP good practice teaching strategies useful for all students esp. ESL
• Benchmark administrations for individual student tutoring of objectives

• District-wide emphasis on math and science and early grade literacy
• Developmental Reading Assessments (DRA) given to help guide instruction
• Addition of Spanish Rosetta Stone for English speakers to learn Spanish
Student Services
• Title I student support services to assist all students
• Inclusion services for special education students above and beyond resource room and content mastery
• Character Education program and student incentives (Owl Cards)
• Providing needed overview and assistance to special education, section 504, ESL, and GT programs
• Computerized on-line system for AR
• Addition of high school library and update of elementary library
• Began emphasizing attendance providing student initiatives and better follow-up of truancy issues
• Renovation of greenhouse with future creation of outdoor science lab
